KUALA LUMPUR, 4 Februari 2026 – Kebawah Duli Paduka Baginda Tengku Ampuan Pahang, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah Binti Almarhum Sultan Iskandar Al-Haj berkenan bercemar duli berangkat menyempurnakan majlis perasmian CIMB Minggu Seri-Ibu Kraf 2026 di Serai Hall, Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club Mall (KLGCC) hari ini.

Keberangkatan Kebawah Duli Paduka Baginda Tuanku diiringi YAM Tengku Puteri Raja Tengku Puteri Iman Afzan binti Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah dan YAM Tengku Puteri Raja Tengku Puteri Afzan Aminah Hafidzatullah binti Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.

Keberangkatan tiba Kebawah Duli Paduka Baginda Tuanku pada pukul 2.30 petang disambut Pengerusi CIMB Group, Datuk Syed Zaid Albar.

Sejurus ketibaan, Kebawah Duli Paduka Baginda Tuanku berkenan melawat reruai yang dibahagikan kepada sembilan bahagian dengan persembahan pelbagai jenis hasil kraftangan artisanal dalam variasi medium termasuk tekstil, kayu, kaca, logam serta segenap jenis bahan lain, dilengkapi dengan fesyen raya yang berwarna-warni oleh bakat terkemuka dan meningkat naik dalam industri.

Kebawah Duli Paduka Baginda Tuanku kemudian turut berkenan menyaksikan persembahan tarian, nyanyian serta peragaan fesyen sebelum menyempurnakan majlis dengan menandatangani plak perasmian sebelum berangkat ke jamuan teh.

Minggu Seri-Ibu Kraf CIMB menyaksikan penyertaan lebih 30 butik fesyen dan kraf mempamerkan bakat kreatif dengan hasil rekaan terbaik dan paling berharga mereka yang dianggap sebagai karya agung atau masterpieces pada acara berkenaan.

CIMB juga bekerjasama dengan Sime Darby Property bagi menyokong Piala Seri-Ibu Kraf iaitu pertandingan yang mengetengahkan bakat-bakat terbaik dalam seni kraf bagi kategori-kategori seperti Tekstil, Tukang Logam (termasuk perak, gangsa dan tembaga) dan Bukan Logam (termasuk seramik, kaca, kayu dan tembikar).

Di samping itu, terdapat juga Anugerah Inovasi, Anugerah Pilihan Orang Ramai atau People’s Choice Award, dan Anugerah Khas Seri-Ibu yang akan dipilih sendiri oleh Kebawah Duli Paduka Baginda Tengku Ampuan Pahang. -KESULTANAN PAHANG

HRH THE TENGKU AMPUAN OF PAHANG GRACES AND OFFICIATES THE OPENING OF CIMB SERI-IBU CRAFT WEEK 2026

KUALA LUMPUR, February 4, 2026 – Her Royal Highness the Tengku Ampuan of Pahang, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah Binti Almarhum Sultan Iskandar Al-Haj, graciously attended and officiated the opening ceremony of CIMB Seri-Ibu Craft Week 2026 at Serai Hall, Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club Mall (KLGCC) today.

Her Royal Highness was accompanied by Her Highness Tengku Puteri Raja Tengku Puteri Iman Afzan Binti Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and Her Highness Tengku Puteri Raja Tengku Puteri Afzan Aminah Hafidzatullah Binti Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.

Upon Her Royal Highness’s arrival at 2.30 p.m., she was welcomed by the Chairman of CIMB Group, Datuk Syed Zaid Albar.

Following her arrival, Her Royal Highness graciously toured the exhibition booths, which were divided into nine sections showcasing a wide range of artisanal handicrafts across various media, including textiles, wood, glass, metal, and other materials. The exhibition was complemented by vibrant festive fashion collections presented by both established and emerging talents in the industry.

Her Royal Highness also graciously witnessed dance and vocal performances, as well as a fashion show, before officiating the ceremony by signing the commemorative plaque. The event concluded with Her Royal Highness attending a tea reception.

CIMB Seri-Ibu Craft Week features the participation of more than 30 fashion and craft boutiques, showcasing their finest and most valuable creative works, regarded as masterpieces at the event. CIMB also collaborates with Sime Darby Property in supporting the Seri-Ibu Craft Trophy, a competition that highlights outstanding talents in the craft arts across categories such as Textiles, Metalwork (including silver, bronze, and copper), and Non-Metal Crafts (including ceramics, glass, wood, and pottery).

In addition, the event includes the Innovation Award, the People’s Choice Award, and the Special Seri-Ibu Award, which will be personally selected by Her Royal Highness the Tengku Ampuan of Pahang. -KESULTANAN PAHANG
