-KESULTANAN PAHANG
LIKE A DREAM…
An overwhelming sense of excitement, beyond words — as if living in a dream. That was how two students of DRB-Hicom Automotive University, Pekan felt when they received a birthday greeting in person from His Royal Highness the Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah.
Nur Azreen binti Suliman from Selangor and Allysa Sofea binti Mohd Halimi from Johor, together with their friend Rosayuni Nur Shahaain from Sabah, never imagined that a modest birthday celebration would turn into one of the most meaningful moments of their lives.
While celebrating the special occasion at Matcha & Dessert Café, Laman Pekan Lama, the three undergraduates were truly fortunate to meet His Royal Highness, who graciously visited the café.
“We chose to celebrate our birthday at this café because we had previously seen a post on the Kesultanan Pahang social media page that His Royal Highness had dined here before.
“It really felt like a dream. We never expected that when we came today (yesterday), His Royal Highness would also be here. We were even more excited to receive advice directly from His Royal Highness.
“His Royal Highness advised us to study diligently and also graciously bestowed a monetary gift to support our educational expenses. Truly, His Royal Highness is a ruler who is close to the people and extremely kind-hearted,” they shared with great excitement.
During the meeting, His Royal Highness also graciously acceded to the request of the three students to capture the special moment together, accompanied by birthday wishes. -KESULTANAN PAHANG
