Al-Qur’an mengandungi banyak kisah tentang Bani Israel.

β€œAl-Qur’an berulang kali mengajak kita untuk membacanya.

Keberangkatan Paduka Baginda diiringi Kebawah Duli Paduka Baginda Tengku Ampuan Pahang Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah Binti Almarhum Sultan Iskandar Al-Haj.

-KESULTANAN PAHANG

HRH THE SULTAN OF PAHANG CALLS ON MUSLIMS TO RETURN TO THE QURAN, URGES UNITY TO FACE GLOBAL CHALLENGES

KUALA LUMPUR, March 11, 2026 – His Royal Highness the Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah, has called on Muslims to return to the Quran as the primary guide in life, especially as the world faces conflicts and uncertainties that affect the well-being of the Ummah.

His Royal Highness stated that the global situation, which is currently marked by conflicts and wars, has deeply affected Muslims worldwide, particularly in the Middle East.

β€œAt times like these, the most appropriate response for us as believers is to return to the teachings of the Quran and the guidance of Prophet Muhammad. The Quran contains many stories about the Children of Israel. These stories are not merely accounts of the past, but lessons for us to reflect upon. They remind us that Allah has long commanded the believers to remain steadfast, prepared, and attentive to justice, faith, and responsibility.

β€œThe Quran repeatedly invites us to read it. Even if we do not fully understand its meaning, the very act of reciting the Quran can soften our hearts and strengthen our relationship with the Almighty.

β€œThat is why initiatives such as the World Quran Hour at the International Islamic University Malaysia are very meaningful. The hope is not merely for people to read the Quran, but also to strive to understand the message of the great miracle bestowed upon Prophet Muhammad,” His Royal Highness said.

His Royal Highness made these remarks while delivering a speech at the World #QuranHour programme held at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), which also brought together representatives from 13 countries in solidarity based on the values of the Quran.

His Royal Highness was accompanied by Her Royal Highness the Tengku Ampuan of Pahang, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah Binti Almarhum Sultan Iskandar Al-Haj.

Meanwhile, His Royal Highness noted that the presence of representatives from TΓΌrkiye, Maldives, Oman, Tajikistan, the Russian Federation, Jordan, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, Azerbaijan, and Somalia together with Malaysia symbolises the unity of Islamic nations that share the values of compassion, justice, and moral responsibility inspired by the Quran.

His Royal Highness also expressed hope that Allah SWT will guide and protect Muslims wherever they may be and unite the Ummah, reminding that unity is the foundation of the community’s strength, in line with the Malay proverb: β€˜United we stand firm, divided we fall.’ -KESULTANAN PAHANG
